Plenty of stores shoot their products on excellent cameras and still get flat results. The gear is usually not the reason.
Light builds the material
Hard direct light erases detail and flattens the product. One large, soft source from the side reveals texture and edges — which the mind reads as "quality".
The background states the price
A busy background pulls attention off the product and signals cheapness. A single calm colour, with empty space around the product, raises its perceived value immediately.
The angle sets the feeling
Shooting at product level feels real and close; slightly from above feels tidy and refined. Pick one angle and hold it across the whole range so the images read as one family.
Consistency beats perfection
Ten images with matching light and background look stronger than twenty excellent but mismatched ones. Consistency is what makes a store look like a brand.
